Father Quitman Francis Beckley, O.P.

Brothers,

In recognition of Memorial Day, the following link is an article I put together regarding one of our Catholic Military Chaplains who served during World War I.

Father Quitman F. Beckley, O.P. was a Dominican priest who volunteered for service in the US Navy and ultimately the US Marines.  He also served as a professor at Aquinas College High School in Columbus, Ohio from 1919 until 1922.

Hope you enjoy the article.  Please remember all of our veterans who served and died so that we can enjoy the freedoms we enjoy today.

All the best,

MIKE

Thanks Mike. I found some K of C photos on my phone that I will send you. Can’t remember if I sent them already. Really enjoyed the article. Those soldiers really had it tough. I can’t imagine going through what they endured and the memories they lived with.

    Thanks,

    Bob
