OLP Knights Measure-Up Campaign Reminder

Brothers,

Just a reminder — It is time again to do our Annual Measure-Up collection to benefit Columbus Special Olympics.

For the benefit of our new members, the OLP Knights participate in the annual KofC Measure-Up Campaign which is a city-wide collection by the Knights of Columbus to benefit the handicapped in our community.  Each year, proceeds from the OLP collection go to Columbus Special Olympics. They use our collection to purchase medals for the Special Olympics Athletes.

This year, there will be two Measure-up collections

The first will be held on Saturday morning, August 1st.  We will be doing our regular street corner collection at the intersection of Henderson Road and High Street.  You will be provided with a yellow caution vest and hat to identify you as a Knights of Columbus member.  We will meet at the OLP parking lot on Saturday morning August 1st at 9:30 am and proceed to Henderson and High to collect from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.  We will need at least 10 Knights to volunteer for this effort.

Second, we will also be collecting at OLP after all weekend Masses on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd.   We will need 3 Knights after each Mass.

For ease in signing up for either of these collections a single Sign-Up Genius link has been created where you can volunteer to participate.

The sign-up link is as follows:

Please volunteer to help in this worthy effort.

For both collections, please don’t forget to wear your mask.  This is a great way for our new members to get acquainted.

Please volunteer to help us in this worthy effort.

 Thank You!
