The annual McArthur Clothing Drive sponsored jointly by the OLP St. Vincent de Paul Society and the OLP Knights of Columbus will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20.
Clean out your closets of that usable fall and winter clothing. Winter coats for children and adults are particularly needed, but any clothing or household goods are also welcome.
The OLP Knights participate by helping in the collection process and by taking the truckload of clothing to St. Francis Mission in McArthur, Ohio on Sunday.
The collection will begin on Saturday, October 19th and run from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. If you can help assisting parishioners with unloading their cars, as well as, loading of the truck, please show up at 2:00 pm.
On Sunday, the OLP Knights will drive the truck to St. Francis Mission in McArthur, Ohio. It’s a great Fall trip. The Knights will leave OLP promptly at 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 20 for McArthur where a snack will be served. Help is needed on Sunday to finish loading the truck and to help unload at McArthur. You should be back in Columbus by approximately 4:00 pm.
Thanks to Brother Dave King of King Business Interiors for the use of his truck in transporting the clothing to McArthur.
