Annual OLP Knights Measure-Up Collection

This is a call for volunteers to all OLP Knights.  You are being asked to volunteer to collect donations at the intersection of Henderson and High Sts. This is our annual Measure-Up Campaign to benefit the Special Olympics.  Past collections have yielded over $2,200 and our goal this year is to exceed that amount.

We are asking for two shifts of 10 men each, to collect at the intersection on Saturday, May 4, 2019.  The shifts are from 9:00 am until 10:30 am and 10:30 am until 12:00 Noon.  Of course, you are welcome to sign-up for both shifts if you choose.

Those working the first shift will assemble at 8:30-8:45 AM in the OLP Parking lot.  Those working the second shift can park in the OLP lot, and proceed to the intersection.

You will be collecting from cars stopped at the intersection. You will be provided with K of C hats and safety vests to identify you as a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Also, we will have plastic Measure-Up rulers to distribute to those who contribute.  This requires some agile walking on your part, but past collections have been a morning of fun for all who participate.

Can you give up an hour and a half on Saturday, May 4 to benefit the Special Olympics?  Be sure to sign-up on here on our new website!

Thank you for considering this opportunity to participate in our Council’s effort to help our community.
